Paul Cashin Architects Appoints New Team Member, Part 2 Architectural Assistant!
Oliver joins the team
We would like to welcome Oliver to the team, starting full time in July. Oliver has recently completed his Part 2 RIBA Masters in Architecture at the University of Westminster, passing with Distinction. He was a member of the studio ran by Sean Griffiths (of FAT Architects, http://www.fashionarchitecturetaste.com/) and Kester Rattenbury (Architectural critic and writer).
His studies included experimenting with the opportunity of chance in design, methods focused on using the I-Ching book from ancient China, where coins are tossed and outcomes are determined by chance, then assigned to different design ideas. This was influenced by the experimental composer John Cage whom used this method to create music.
We welcome Oliver to the team and look forward to his contribution to projects going forward.
